A painting by my late father, James Field. He was an artist and illustrator with a passion for history. Below is the accompanying text he wrote at the time:
HT Mellings, achieving his second victory in the Sopwith Triplane over the Aegean. The Sopwith Camel took out the other fighter seaplane but the two-seater got away. The Sopwith Pup came along for the ride.
