A painting by my late father, James Field. He was an artist and illustrator with a passion for history and wildlife. Below is the accompanying text he wrote at the time:
This medium sized Sauropod from the Late Jurassic of East Africa is noted for the very deep neural spines of the vertebrae giving a somewhat humped appearance. Here we see a herd wandering through open conifer woodland with an understory of cycads and a few strap-like ferns.
