James Field's Edmontosaurus Lightning
A painting by my late father, James Field. He was an artist and illustrator with a passion for history and wildlife. Below is the accompanying text he wrote at the time:
A Late Cretaceous thunderstorm panics a herd of Edmontosaurus (Edmonton-reptile). This is one of the Dinosaurs for which we have mummified specimens showing that, at least this species of Hadrosaur had a frill along its back.
