A painting by my late father, James Field. He was an artist and illustrator with a passion for history and wildlife. Below is the accompanying text he wrote at the time:

This portrait of Edmontosaurus (Edmonton-reptile) shows the horny beak that would have been used to collect the vegetation on which it lived; what can’t be seen are the hundreds of teeth set further back inside the mouth where the food was ground down.
